According to his latest investigation, Apple’s largest supplier Foxconn’s iPhone production base in India may ship a new 6.1-inch iPhone at the same time as China for the first time in the second half of 2022. 14. It is reported that Foxconn is expanding iPhone production in India. According to the Economic Times of India, Foxconn has expanded its existing TamilNadu factory in India (Tamil Nadu factory) to produce more Apple iPhones in the country.
In April this year, the media also said that some of Foxconn’s factories near Chennai, India, had been approved by Indian authorities to allow an increase in the workforce to meet India’s growing iPhone demand. The Indian government has approved Apple’s application for the use of 40 acres of land for the Foxconn factory complex operating within the Chennai Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
Previously, multiple sources said that the iPhone 14 series will not have a mini model, but will include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
