Mynapoint is a project run by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to promote the spread and use of My Number cards, and is being implemented separately in the first and second stages.
In the first round of Minor Points, points equivalent to up to 5,000 yen can be returned by issuing a My Number card and using the target cashless payment.
In the second round of minor points, you can receive points equivalent to 7,500 yen by registering your My Number card as an insurance card, equivalent to 7,500 yen by registering a public money receiving account, and up to 20,000 yen worth of points in combination with the first round of minor points. For those who have not yet used the first round of minor points, you can continue to receive benefits by applying for the second round of minor points.
In this announcement, the application deadline for the applicable My Number Card has been extended, but the application deadline for Minor Points will not be extended and will be until the end of February 2023.
