iOS16.1 Beta 2 fixed GPS issue for iPhone14 Pro model

In the first iOS16 beta, many users reported that GPS was not working properly on iPhone14 Pro and iPhone14 Pro Max, but we found that beta 2 fixed the problem.

iPhone14 Pro supports dual-frequency GPS

Like the Apple Watch Ultra, the iPhone14 Pro series supports dual-frequency GPS. This means your iPhone can receive signals from GPS satellites operating on both the legacy L1 frequencies and the higher-powered L5 frequencies, which are more likely to pass through obstacles such as buildings and trees. The combination of these two signals improves the location accuracy of map apps and other apps that use location information.

It turns out that the GPS problem reported in iOS16.1 Beta 1 has been fixed in Beta 2.

iOS 16.1 is expected to be released later this year, adding Live Activities, Matter support, and more.
