iOS 16.0.2 Appears-Corresponds to Camera Vibration and Copy and Paste Display Bugs

ios16.0.2

In the early hours of September 22 (local time), Apple newly released iOS 16.0.2. It will appear in about two weeks after the official version of iOS16 is released.

Fixed various bugs

In iOS16.0.2, multiple bugs that have been confirmed in the iPhone14 series and devices equipped with iOS16 (iPhone8/iPhone X and later models) have been fixed.

Bugs specifically addressed are:

  • The camera of a third-party app vibrates on the iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max and the photos are blurred
  • Display is black during device setup
  • Lots of prompts when copying and pasting between apps
  • VoiceOver may become unusable after restart
  • On some models of iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 with replaced displays, touch input stops responding after updating to iOS 16

Rapid response to third-party related issues

In particular, regarding the bug that the camera vibrates in the upper models of the iPhone 14 series and blurs the photos, when shooting videos with SNS applications such as Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok, the rear camera shakes at an uncontrollable level. It was considered one of the serious bugs.

However, there were no issues with the stock camera app, so it’s good news that Apple has dealt with such a speedy third-party glitch.

Apple is already working on the development of iOS16.1, and the official version is expected to be released along with iPadOS16.1 in October.
