Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ) has announced that IIJmio, a mobile service for individuals, has won first place in two customer satisfaction surveys in the MVNO category for the second year in a row.

Awarded 1st place in two customer satisfaction surveys

IIJmio won first place in overall satisfaction in the MVNO category of the “JD Power 2022 Mobile Phone Service Customer Satisfaction Survey” and the “JCSI (Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index) Survey.”
 

 

JD Power 2022 Mobile Phone Service Satisfaction Survey

A survey conducted by JD Power Japan Co., Ltd., targeting smartphone users aged 18 to 47, asking them about their use of mobile phone services, their experiences, and their level of satisfaction.
 
3,000 people were surveyed in the MVNO category, and IIJmio received the highest evaluation in the “communication quality” item, ranking first in overall satisfaction for the second year in a row.
 

JCSI (Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index) Survey

This is a satisfaction survey conducted by the Service Industry Productivity Council of the Japan Productivity Center, asking the satisfaction levels of eight industries, including mobile phones, mail-order sales, and electronic money.
 
IIJmio ranked first in overall satisfaction for the second year in a row in the MVNO category.

“JD Power 2022 Mobile Phone Service Customer Satisfaction Survey” Survey Results of Other Departments

The “JD Power 2022 Mobile Phone Service Customer Satisfaction Survey” conducts satisfaction surveys in addition to the MVNO division, in the major carrier division, value carrier division, and online-only brand / plan division.
 
Of these, DOCOMO won first place in the major carrier category, Ymobile in the value carrier category, and LINEMO in the online-only brand/plan category.
