Beetle PSX seems to be a lesser known emulator core, and many people still steer towards ePSXe. But ePSXe is very outdated now, Beetle PSX is definitely your best choice for a #Playstation 1 Emulator. Beetle PSX is actually a fork of Mednafen and made by the same developers!
Mednafen is vouched for a lot still, but it’s harder to set up and doesn’t have a good menu to change anything from. Beetle PSX has high accuracy, and the HW core has many amazing hacks.
Since this videos release, Retroarch prompts you to install it in another directory if you choose to do so. The systems folder will be found within that directory! That’s the only difference within this tutorial.
