  18. "None. This contract will end with me." What if Baizhu is actually Khaenri'an? What if the reason he's researching immortality isn't because he wants to pursue it, but because he wants to know how to "end" the curse? What some might consider medicine may be poison to others, and what cures most people might be a curse to some.

  19. So rumors say that he's related to Pantalone or maybe he IS Pantalone in disguise. The similarities in visuals aside, they both have great business acumen. In Baizhu's character stories, it is stated that while he is benevolent and hardly charges anything for his services, he's not naive and is actually a capable businessman. Also, all harbingers carry "masks" of some sort, but the previous Harbinger teaser showed that Pantalone wasn't wearing any "mask" and his eyes were never shown either. Either Pantalone's appearance itself is the "mask" or "Baizhu" is. But IF the rumors are true and he is Pantalone's "mask", then it begs the question: Whose Vision is Baizhu carrying then? Is it his or Changsheng's? Or is the Vision shared between him and Changsheng and he therefore has no Vision where Changsheng is not concerned?
    All that is speculation though. I haven't read enough of the lore. Regardless, I love Baizhu no matter what others say about him or his skill kit (btw, I actually like his kit; it's exactly what I've been looking for). IDK, he's just…peaceful. (And I simp megane characters…yes, Pantalone included.)

  25. So small theory but its my small thought, Qiqi would be his next disciple for she is immortal for if he doesn't find a way to be immortal he might pass it on to her. Well the case of him saying it ends with him being the last disciple that will have to die and taking on the contract. Thinking about why he has qiqi learning and helping with medicine knowing her downfall is memory he gave her ways to remember. Understanding he is trying to understand how to become like qiqi being the reason he keeps her around but again it can't hurt to have a backup plan. Also to slightly up hold this theory in the beginning of this the snake was very weak on her own this being they need a host, the doubt that he will leave her to die knowing the power she holds that could help people and wondering what would become of her. He plans to make sure she doesn't suffer the same fate or continue to see them die.

  31. My guess is that the next contract holder will be Qiqi, if Baizhu fails to attain immortality. Though I wonder what Xiao meant when he told Baizhu about immortality. Could this perhaps be some hint that Baizhu is making progress? And Xiao sensed it so he warns Baizhu to not continue to attain immortality?

  33. OMG.. His predecessor look line MC in Manhua.. The Manhua title "I'm Actually a Peerless Powerhouse".. The best part both of them proficient in Medicine..

  38. Not his ominous last line implying that he either dies with the contract or finds a way to create immortal life, meaning he wouldnt have to pass the contract on

  41. I think this was one of the best story quests so far regard to individual characters. This was beautiful! Not a lot of fighting but very deep and important non the less. ✨
    His story quest gave me the first insight into how doctors think and how they perceive the world. I even had to pause for a bit to reflect on what I just saw, heard. Very emotional quest! Amazing! 10/10 🥲

  43. I accidentally got Baizhu when I was pulling for Candace and Kaveh, after getting the Good Doctor twice I decided to farm for him until fully leveled up, and boy after trying for the first day and finishing his quest I decided to add him in my main line permanently.
