2. I don't think I like the game. But I've decided to play for a week to see if I really dislike it or if it's just frustration from primo gem collection being so slow. I want one of the smaller characters and that's why I originally started playing and not being able to reroll my first draw is admittedly really annoying. I just don't have the heart or patience to wait for months just for a specific character banner to release though, so I'm repeatedly drawing the standard banner and hoping that I'll get lucky. Which is unlikely considering they are the minority but I mean.. Most of them are 4 star, so how hard could it be? Though this appears to be the kind of game people spend months playing… Which just isn't my style. Still, I still want to play as one of the smaller characters and I'm not completely sure I've given the game a fair enough chance to entice me so I'll stick around until the end of this week. I guess I'll just be hoping for good luck.

4. A note on spending. If you know your own bad habits i would heavily suggest setting a hard budget. I in my first week put like…500 bucks into the game but that was something i did budget towards since a major purchase got canceled. I also know that i have a bad habit of being sucked into gacha stuff(warframe…). Set a limit, stick to that limit. dont make dumb excuses. Personally i find that i always tack towards a goal to limit how much i can or will spend. i got what i wanted on honkai and basically stopped spending money on it. genshin is shaping up the same way(though i still dont have fisl!)

12. One thing I wish I knew/did before hand (and now do) is farm ascension materials for my main team before doing the ascension quest. I made my Genshin life pretty hard at one point. 🤦🏻‍♀️

13. I've been following you for a little bit now ( a couple of months), and you have no idea how much I appreciate the sheer amount of persona music you have in your videos and streams. Top tier 👌

14. my problem is every single banner i have to have and now i have 6+ 5 stars im trying to build simultaneously and now the game is overwhelming and pure hell farming resources.

16. Heavily disagree that new players should use the interactive map

    Its far more fun to find out stuff om your own. Ofc use it if you want, but going in blind is more fun

    Id recommend only using the interactive map after getting all the statues of the 7

17. If youre new roll on who ever you want but keep in mind if theyre from inazuma for example you cant upgrade them for a while

    Also whenever i talk about genshin with ppl who havent played it i always say if youre bad at controlling your spending just dont play

I used to think that if i win a 5050, my next one i am guaranteed to lose it so i was spending primos on standard banner after getting klee (standard bcz i have more pity on it) and kept telling myself that i'd have time for koko. In the end, i need got a gold star until 2 banners later bcz i learned that im not guaranteed to lost it.

20. no, never farm leylines for the future. the thing is, you WILL get tons of books and mora from just exploring. i got enough book to get my character to 90 and to get Zhongli to 80 (got him few days ago), i also got Dehya from 80-90. mora and exp books is something you dont need to farm much of because you will get them from exploring, i see so many makes these dumb mistakes

21. Been playing for 2 months and got a gambling addiction in the first week playing, good thing I’m broke and can’t spend money on the game 😅
