Layla's C2 can outright remove her ER requirements with the right team, meaning you can run no extra ER and still be able to burst off cooldown
Edit: take this from someone who has 197% ER on it, i most certainly overshot it(it used to be my Kuki's set, and Layla also has Favonius on her), but with the team i'm using her in, i can very much use her with base ER

Actually her HP shield with random artefacts already performs as good as Zhongli’s it’s just important to not to use an elemental skill of anyone right before an enemy attacks you so that shield doesn’t weaken right before an enemy hits you. But it’s easy to deal with, a lot easier than kuki which I have for a year and still struggle with due to her dying all the time even in the open world. A Zhongli haver indeed 😂

I genuinely have the Zhongli curse because of Layla. I don’t have Zhongli, but her shield is so tanky that without her I’m struggling.
I equipped the Amenoma Kageuchi on her (I only had the Sacrificial/Favonius Sword & Harbinger of Dawn to choose between).
Is that good or nah?
I’ve been using her in conjunction with my Heizou and that’s helped him a lot. Having that shield if I ever need to charge his skill is super helpful and the cryo application is reliable even if it’s not amazing.

I got Layla when I pulled for Eula. I plan on builiding Layla as a support. Currently she has Harbinger Of Dawn as it's the most accessible sword. I have a few copies at R5.
i like and built layla but shes useless
Late to the party (just got Layla from the summer event) and perhaps have been mentioned before, but Layla's shooting stars also target fire sources nearby (firepit/stove/torches)
Can i use her (c1) for my Ganyu melt or should i stick to Diona(c0)?
I’m stuck because I’m gonna be doing the Ayaka Layla kokomi kazuah freeze team but I’m giving tenacity to Kokomi, and I’m conflicted on what set to give Layla. Right now Layla has 4 piece emblem severed fate as a cryo sub dps….what artifact set would be best for Layla in this situation?

Layla is very special to me because she’s my first and only C6 (not including traveler). I have her as my heavy shielded on my hyperbloom team (Nahita, Shinobu, and Xingquio) and is vital for giving me time to get all my reactions off! It just hurts me how many people sleep on her! Don’t get me wrong, I understand why, but why not give yourself an excellent shielder who does such an amazing job of applying cryo? Plus you can give her a bit of a boost with a cryo goblet just for good measure (she has 4 piece Millileth). That said, I have a handful of other teams I can try to build if I’m feeling up to it so I might try something else later, but I’m just now finishing up with my first team so now I need to focus on my second team to finally make a good run at the Abyss.

I love her but what bugs me os that she doesn't realy have a weapon that works with her beside the 5* . She barely needs ER with 40 burst. She doesn't realy need At ; em doesn't matter . All she needs is HP . They realy need to give us a 4* hp sword (i think Nilou suffers from the same issue)
