  4. I need a better clan and to join warband. Im so far behind. No wardband and only level 35 helliquary. 2k res Monk stuck in Inferno 3 at about 28k-29k CR. Playing since about 6 months after release with a break for about 2 months.

  6. Many new players see day one players and instantly want the same CR. Many seem to have no patience. They also expect gratuitous carries from randoms. I always loved when my alt was still stuck in one difficulty level lower than my main, and I'm carrying losers with rank 10 gear who are 500-1000 under CR thru dungeons in a difficulty level higher than myself. So.much.entitlement!!!

    It's taken my low spend (only on bp and awakening) barb alt 6 mos to be able to start in the same new inferno difficulty as my paragon would say I should be able to do but couldn't bcz my CR was too low.

    I am also now able to handle the last raid boss in the current inferno difficulty. Inf IV Drepsaigh is still hard for me, but it's not red very high difficulty. And I dont die. In another 2 weeks or so, I should be pretty much at recommended CR. I still have a few pieces of gear that are 100 to 150 CR too low. I NEED AN OFF HAND PLEASE.

    Typically, my WB finishes a difficulty and moves to the next level when I'm still dying everywhere, and my CR is still far too low for the final boss. My WB is ranked like 35, not a top one, but not a bad one either.

    I am able to keep up with current content now. So I'm making progress. Baby steps.

    I am 1153 paragon with 5 of 8 legendary gear now rank 26. My warband tableau is 1060 cr. My res just crossed 1000 today, in fact. My CR is 30.7K.

    The only thing that is super behind is my helliquary. It is only level 55 whereas my main is level 64. There is no catch up mechanic for helliquary, other than the law of diminishing returns the higher you level up. But still, that difference is also only about a 100 CR gain for my main over my alt.

    I'm there at 6 mos. Just gotta grind it out if you don't want to spend (I'm not dropping money for bundles in my alt, it's that simple). It's not going to happen overnight, but it will happen. The game is designed that the higher you are the more your progress stalls out. It's true for gems, legendary gems, upgrading gear, helliquary, WB Tableau and pretty much everything.

    You just can't lose heart or think you're gonna be amazing in pvp instantly. Because you won't be – unless you swipe swipe swipe.

  9. I would also like to point out that Side Quests beside the familiar shop gives 3 quests + a bonus 3 dust per day. You may think it's not much but they rake up so fast that I actually get to upgrade my gear past 16 very quickly by doing dailies from that.

  10. Well the whole boring stuff is just.. rank 30 slots… beside high 3/3 items drops. Just grind A LOT if you came back after a year like me.. and WARBAND tableu.. to max.. + helliquary. They should give ppl a much better way of getting more materials to rank 30 faster on slots.
