  2. other NS need another youtuber close their account, I think you need to backup your videos and open other channel ASAP. For the coming videos, don't post the demo about NS

  3. I hope Nintendo takes them down hard. Come on guys, get real. Switch is still in its life cycle. You don’t do that. Emulators are used to play ROMs you get for free. We all know that and so does Nintendo. Backups my ass.

  4. If someone shows me how to backup my legally purchased game for my own personal use, how is that illegal? I dont get it. I thought "distribution" of these backups was the issue.

  5. In my perspective, when it comes to us, its ours. we are free to decrypt whatever thats our right on the consumer side, but dont distribute or sell it for personal gain

  6. If Nintendo wins, they better be prepared to make PC ports for their games. I’m just saying, times are changing, even Xbox and PlayStation knows this. I don’t use Yuzu myself, but I’m impressed by the frame rate of Tears of the Kingdom on PC through Yuzu compared to the Switch! On the Switch, all those lag spikes make me shutter after playing games on PC at near perfect 60 FPS for so many years.

  7. Looks like Nintendo is definitely in the right on this one, although that doesn't necessarily mean they'll win the case. Like you said, a really good lawyer could win the case for Yuzu.

  8. Thid is exactly what Nintendo was aiming for. This getting settled out of court would shut yuzu down and not much else.
Now, the ninjas🥷 will be able to set a new updated legal precedent over all this.

  9. It'll be a sad day if this goes in Nintendo's favor. It'll set the precedent that companies like Nintendo can take down well intentioned fan project with little to no legitimate grounds for it other than greed. Hardware and physical media have a shelf life. Games disappear permanently every year because publishers never saw it financially beneficial to port these titles to onto PC or rerelease them on modern hardware. Emulation and digital archiving is the only option for keeping abandonware game libraries available for the foreseeable future. Emulation is also the only way to get around dumb hardware limitations and experience games at their peak potential.
I want to see Nintendo stand on the right side of this issue but right now they've made themselves a threat to gaming as a whole. If they continue to prioritize their rules and order, they can take all the financial loss that comes with it.

  10. Stop buying Nintendo products lets come after them the same way they come after fans. Im afraid to play the switch because Nintendo might sue me for complaining about the shitty port im playing lol

  11. The issue with the Switch is that it is garbage hardware. I own Breath of the Wild and Tears of the kingdom and they run like Garbage on my Switch, on my PC it runs at 4k 60hz and looks way better. I'm a paying Nintendo customer and have backed up my own keys and Games, yuzu allows me to play my games at a better quality.

  12. Hey Mad Little Pixel here 1:30 It is not that Nintendo is a multi-million dollar company (which it is) but that the problem here is about the developers and their work, not the company as such, if the game fails or does not sell well what would be affected It would directly be the work and effort of those workers, apart from the lack of respect for their hard work, but of course these people who like to pirate games and have them for free do not see that or do not even care, I ask, would you like me to come? someone and disrespect your work? Or that someone would come and after you have worked hard for many years, perhaps without sleeping well, and that someone would come and steal it from you for free?? Think about it closely.

  13. When will Nintendo sue Microsoft and Apple for knowingly providing an operating system that people use to pirate their games at a colossal scale?

  14. You need those certain files to make the games play on Yuzu. The program by itself cannot. The problem i think will be is Yuzu hosting those files on their website? The other emulator sites (for various consoles) never host any Bios, or system files, etc. They always say Google it. I would not brag about it playing this or that game or have a section to post on the site unless it is a tech issue. The part about getting donations is a slippery slope i wouldn't want to go down. I hope they let the government know the money total in case they want some taxes 🙁

  15. Come on Yuzu shut Nintendo up so they can leave emulations alone!🎉❤

But what they need to do is mainly go after the Rom Websites Yuzu has nothing with the Tears of the Kingdom or any other games. They're just working on the emulation itself. 🤨

  16. People who are on Nintendos side; what has nitnendo done to preserve game titles and cartridges? Absolutely nothing. So that’s why emulation is a thing as it preserves titles FOREVER and doesn’t let them become lost media.

“Just buy the cartridges and console” oh yeah.. let me buy a GameCube for $300 and a game that costs $80. So very reasonable price

  17. Guys, Yuzu is in the wrong. Everyone do not understand the focal points. It isnt about whether or not Yuzu do not comes with the prod.key, it EXECUTE the action in run time. The law says you can not decrypt. It doesn’t say you must provide your own prod.keys. so they are in the wrong. Unless nintendo gave them permission. They are in trouble. Also so are youtubers admitted they dump they’re own games never ask Nintendo for permission.

  18. Instead of suing.. why not give the yuzu team a job for making an OFFICIAL working emulator.. since Nintendo already has a emulator on their switch, hire the yuzu team for more games and better graphics/customizability

It bothers me that THAT isn’t the first thing nitnendo tried doing.. or at least give them a warning saying “we MIGHT shut down your emulator if you continue operation, but if you work for us we can guarantee an official emulator support”

  19. i'd just like to remind people that emulation during the life cycle of a console is NOT something new. it's been happening for over 2 decades, going back to N64 and ps1 days, and even before that iirc. i can understand why someone would personally decide to stay away from it though

  20. I think this is because Nintendo is fearful of what might happen if it gets out of control, especially if the new Switch 2 is backwards compatible.

I think they have seen it happen in the past – some say piracy contributed to the death of the Sega Dreamcast.

  21. I mean they must of known they were playing with fire when they released zelder early.
They probably should of played it safe and waited until Nintendo released it before putting it out there.
    Because now Nintendo is mad.

  22. A bold choice. Because even if they're right, legally, Nintendo probably has a lot more money than they do.

Hopefully they could get some financial support from the community if they do fight it.
