27. Someone broke down the subscription based cheats and the potential money they generate. My wife works at a multi Bil company in HR, and the things that go on are INSANE behind closed doors. After the recent cuts in staffing and the crazy heirloom money grabs (this is IMO, im a FPS guy, not really familiar with the crazy diablo money grab stuff)- combine that with demonization of shooter games and the ineptitude of gov oversight in even health industries, I wouldn't be surprised if someone at EA greenlit this in some DEI thinktank and was like "its our game, its just for fun anyways, fuck em we need revenue". Look at the pharma industry and lack of standards, the recent payoff of biden admin officials for the Dish network fraud, EA is just squeezing the juice out of all of us. We should just go play paintball and jumprope and kettlebell. This shit is depressing. Been playing FPS since quake teamfortress. CEOs are psychopaths and they are all on a end of the world moneygrab trip to justify any immoral actions to keep their fancy herman miller chairs. For now, its a dead hobby for me.
