This is a different way of Unlocking your iPhone 3gS running iOS 5.0.1 with iPad Baseband. This method will benefit those who don’t have Wifi or there wifi is dead on their iPhone 3gS. The requirements of this video is your iPhone must be Jailbroken with Redsn0w, PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze and ofcourse your wifi is assumed as not working.This will also work if you have any of these basebands 04.26, 5.11, 5.12, 05.13, 06.15
PLEASE READ: IMPORTANT: Users with Newer iPhone 3gS must NOT flash the iPad Baseband. The iPad baseband will NOT work on 3gS iPhones built later than 35th week of 2011. You have a week 35 or later device if your Serial No. starts with xx135.
ALSO note that in few cases if iPhone 3gS users still have No Service sign even after following this video, then they must Flash iPad baseband again using new Redsn0w. (See below for details)

When you have opened DiskAid then you need to transfer the *.deb files that you downloaded from Ultrasn0w zipped file, put them in var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall. If the Cydia/AutoInstall directory is not there, then you create one as demonstrated in the video. Make sure to type Cydia folder with UpperCase “C” and AutoInstall folder with UpperCase ‘A’ and ‘I”.
Once all above is done as shown in the video, you need to restart your phone 2 times, the 1st for Cydia to install the packages and second time Ultrasn0w start to work. Done.
Most of you lovely i-Device users out there already know how to flash iPad baseband on iPhone 3gS. All you need to do is simply run the Redsnow given below. Run it and hit Jailbreak Button. Then follow the instructions of DFU mode. Now Redsnow will give you an option to choose. Now just choose ‘install iPad baseband’ . Wait for good 5-10 minutes while it does its job. You will finally have an iPad baseband 06.15.00 on your iPhone.
