Unreal Engine Tutorial – macOS Build & Export .dmg package game UE4



Here I use a mac to package a macOS build to run standalone for distribution. A basic level is built with some landscape and basic lighting and fog then a quit option or escape key is set in level blueprint and its packaged for macOS.

The resulting package is then exported again with some of the starter content removed to reduce file size.

I then use disk utility to make a .dmg reducing the overall package size to 25% from the original package.
