In today’s video, I have great news for those of you waiting for an #iOS 12, iOS 11.4.1 or iOS 11.4 Jailbreak. Just a few hours ago Umang, an Electra Team member, and security researcher has announced on his Twitter that his iOS 12 bugs a potential iOS 12 #Jailbreak. If you remember, Umang has announced the existence of these vulnerabilities a few weeks ago and when I asked him he said he would release them for a public jailbreak on iOS 12.
At the same time, iOS 11.4 is also lucky. Just a few days ago, Brandon Azad, another security researcher has made a new vulnerability available for the general public which works on iOS 11.4 and lower. The bug was made for iOS 11.2.6 but the vulnerability can be used further and thus aiding in the creation of an iOS 11.4 Jailbreak. For iOS 11.4.1, Ian Beer has announced some upcoming bugs so for the moment both iOS 11.4 and iOS 11.4.1, as well as iOS 12, are safe for jailbreaking.
Umang recommends that if you’re already jailbroken or you wanna use iOS 11, you do not update to iOS 12 or iOS 11.4.1 at this moment, a recommendation I am also backing. You should, however, save your SHSH2 blobs while it is still possible. Check out the video below for a tutorial.
