In today’s video, I am going to recap the current situation of the #iOS 11.4.1, iOS 11.4 and iOS 12 Jailbreak. Quite a lot of things have piled up recently and we are about to finally get a release of Sileo, a #Cydia Alternative, quite soon. Just a few hours ago the team behind #Sileo have successfully tested Sileo and managed to successfully install the very first package which was Mojito by Dennis Bednarz. There might still be things to add or improve here and there, but in general, Sileo should be quite close to release at this point.
For the iOS 12, things look very good. Fortunately, multiple researchers in the community have announced Kernel bugs that would work on iOS 12. This, of course, facilitates a quick jailbreak development on iOS 12 granted that Apple doesn’t make post-use harder in iOS 12 which they most likely will.
Unfortunately, iOS 11.4.1 and iOS 11.4 don’t look very good. There is currently no kernel bug available. there is a sandbox escape on iOS 11.4 but it is nowhere near enough for a fully fledged Jailbreak. iOS 11.4.1 is currently signed but not a good choice if you ask me, however, I would not update just yet.
