The Samsung Viewfinity S9 screen was introduced by Samsung not long ago. With specifications of 5K and 27 inches, could this be a worthy rival to the Apple Studio Display?

  1. There is a warning that says "*Only Mac computers with Apple Silicon released after 2020 are supported" on the product's webpage. Do you know what this warning is about? Does it mean the monitor can not be used with Macs without an Apple silicon chip? Source: The 27" ViewFinity S9 page on Samsung’s web site. (I can’t post the link because YouTube deletes the comment then.)

  2. Is it possible for a reviewer to simply review a product without constantly mentioning Apple? This is all-too-common on Youtube. Otherwise, a very nicely produced review.

  3. Samsung asking for such a ridiculous price (almost similar to studio display) and yet producing out a piece of plastic monitor. Eww… just get the studio display! 🤷

For cheaper alternative, I will still stick to U2723qe for now.

  4. Might sell my studio display and buy this. Waiting for further comparisons. Regarding all the comments about price. You should know by now that Samsung never sticks to the initial price. This will definitely be on sale soon.

  5. The studio display is From $1599 this plastic cheap build is $1299. I wouldn’t even call that affordable at this point you pick the better build that has better value long terms. In 3-5 years you’ll get your money back for the studio, the Samsung you’ll be lucky to get 200.

  6. That matt coating by default is a mistake. Does not make sense. It should be an add-on like apple did with nano texture, only for those who specially want to use it in rooms with reflections. Why screw up the contrast for everyone.

BTW, apple studio display does not have Mini LED. I wish it had.

  7. I think Samsung is trying to turn people away from iPhones by integrating such features that require a Samsung phone. So not as many Apple users will buy it… or use those extra features. In the end, it is only about two hundred cheaper than the Apple display. There is maybe one thing for consider to buying it. That MiniDP. In multi computer setup it is good thing to have second input.

  8. Priced at $1599.00. Samsung is asking too much. I would rather get the Apple Studio. It's the same price, and Apple makes better products.

  9. Thinkview làm kênh tiếng Anh là rất hợp lý. Chất lượng Video như này ko hề thua kép các kênh khác trên thế giới 👏👏👋

  10. Waiting to be able to buy one for photo editing. I really do not like glossy screens, like Apple displays, for photography. I tend to use my glossy laptop screen for TV shows.
