  3. It’s all pi$$ing in the wind. There’s no basis to this given apple invested heavily into the studio & make more money from the studio because people are forced to by a screen as well.

  4. im running my 27" iMac till the end! and then if I need a new PC I want an iMac 27" at least or bigger! Not going to smaller one! I dont like Mac`s ! I like iMac (all in one). clean look no cables. it's perfect

  6. I would like to see an "iMac+" with a base M3 chip but 27" 5K inch screen, replicating the same product line up of the MacBook Airs having 13" and 15" options.

  7. They figured out how to cool the 18 core and AMD Vega 64 in the iMac Pro from 6years ago. They can definitely cool M3 Ultra in an iMac easy. It just won’t be cheap

  8. I really don't understand what you are talking about here in terms of price…
    I bought an iMac Pro 4 years ago and the starting price was at 5000$ compared to a top of the line iMac that started at around 3000$.
    an M2 studio max with a studio display is around 4500$.
    And a standard M1 24'' 8 cores iMac with no option right now is around 2000$
    Upgrading it to a 30" without changing the chip would already cost 3000$…
    So a 30/32" M3 max iMac Pro for 3000$? Really?
    At about the same time the Vision Pro will be released with an already outdated M2 chip?
    Come on…
    Not even close.
    I don't even understand the reason to make an iMac Pro now. The Mac Studio Max (with options) or bare-bones Ultra IS the new iMac Pro and costs about the same as the iMac Pro costed a few years ago.

  9. I love my 27inch IMAC although it's intel, but if there is an M3 IMAC in two years, I may buy something else. I use the M1 base Mac mini which is not enough even with the net,so I hope to buy a much faster with more ram new model as we can't change the ram by ourselves any longer.

  10. I REALLY DO NOT LIKE THE NEW IMAC DESIGN WHAT THE HECK?????? IT LOOKS SSUPER CHEAP AND IT LOOKS LGBTWQ INSPIRED… WHAT IS THIS CHEAP DESIGN .??? I MISS THE OLD CLASSIC APPLE MAN CLASSIC IMACS 🙁 STEVE JOBS WOULD BE DISSAPOINTED AS HECK

  15. I already have a 27 inch iMac with 32 GB of memory and 3 TB of storage in my 2013 iMac. Why would they not give us the option of having at least as much as we have already? I don't want to downsize!! I would like a 30 inch iMac with 32 GB of memory and at least 3 TB of storage and an M3 iMac. I don't want to have to deal with more "parts" sitting on my desk. I just want an iMac!!! No more monitors or external drives to have to take up space or issues to deal with. They keep pushing things out, over and over, the end of this year, or the beginning of the next year…..longer and longer wait periods. I can't wait much longer. I think my iMac is going to crash again soon. It is very slow.

  20. I bought a refurbished iMac Pro from Amazon back in May. It is the entry model and runs macOS 14 beta very well and the machine has more than enough power for my day to day workload.
    I think another iMac Pro line is appropriate and would sell well as many people would like to have a powerful all in one pro level work station.

  24. I've had iMacs since the very first model and every one since, but until we have a good way to play our PC games on them I'll have to just use my 2020 until it dies or switch to PC.

  31. I doubt they will update the 24 inch iMac for a few years. They didn't update it already and it seems the main audience is dental studios/hair dressers, fancy internet cafes, and businesses who want to look fancy. None of which need anything better than the M1 and want to pay the minimum they can get away with. Companies like long term service and replace-ability, so it being old isn't a disadvantage for them.

  32. What if, now here me out, they took the studio display, and slapped a Mac on the back of it and, here’s the crazy part, they sell it at the current price of the studio display. Then drop the price of the studio display price to half. 🤯

Not that I have anything against the current design, but personally I would like to see black bezels with the colors but colors that are not different shades instead of doing dark on the back and light in the front, it should be a single shade. I think the iPhone 14's blue should be used and add midnight as well. I really hope the M3 chip offers that 24gb ram option combined with better cooling than the M2 chip. It has potential to be excellent.

  35. i just really hope:
    1) they get rid of all bezels!
    2) if they dont, at least not that white atrocity like on the m1! the back colours are fun, but the front is totally disgusting!
    if they make it look like the studio display but bigger it would be the perfect computer!

I guess your assumption on the price for the M3 imac 24 inch is right but for the large imac (pro) with M3 they will charge more then 2K and if you looked at prices of the large outgoing imac i would say it is likely to cost at least 2299 and 2799. They don't have a lot of competion and they will likely retain a an huge advantage with display resolution and size.
