  1. Thinking of getting this for my monster M1 Max 16 INCH M1, that was $3000 almost very close. the price to performance for the air (plus you can carry it around) is awesome. Should I invest in this?

  2. Not that exciting tbh.The bezels are comparatively thicker than other modern laptops, disgusting notch,no OLED or miniled high refresh rate option.

  3. mag safe is the only reason im considdering the m2 mac book air over the m1 mac book air, i dont need a laptop to do anything other then word processing so more power on the chip or a better webcam do nothing for me, but magsafe so that if someone snaggs the cable whilst i have my laptop on a table could be the differnce between needing a new laptop or not

  4. 100% agree with the MagSafe comment. It’s a nice cable, but mine lives in the box. A usb c cable can charge both my laptop and iPad (and hopefully someday my iPhone and AirPods). I got a nice braided 10 foot cable that can do up to 100w and never looked back.

  5. Looking forward to you reviewing how it handles common stuff but seeing how it handles any editing you do would be cool! Would the 16gb/512gb be worth it? All other reviews warn against the 256gb base model so figure bumping the ram and SSD should make performance less of a concern…
Can you tell the difference in weight between the current MBP and this air?

  6. I really want to have this, but I have a gaming PC already and barely use it as is. Smartphones have pretty much killed the laptop game for me, I just can't justify the expense to not utilize it to it's potential.

I really wish there were some things that could use this for on a personal level, I can definitely see this being useful for influencers and other people whose main profession involves photography and video.
