Can a MacBook Replace Your Gaming PC?

Pfftt, who needs a PC, am I right lads? I’m kidding but also Apple’s latest Game Porting Toolkit is looking promising!

Huge shout out to @Andytizer and all his work and education that makes stuff like this possible. Check out his channel and for everything you need to know about the Game Porting Toolkit. Love your videos bro!

Also you could potentially skip all this work by checking out Codeweavers new version of Crossover but this was a bit of fun none the less!

  1. Perhaps Apple should launch a console that share the core of the newest Apple Silicon Macs, in collaboration with big gaming companies.
This way, not only there will be a new powerful console out there, but that will also make it finally possible (and viable) for devs to port the Apple Console games to Mac, cuz obviously it's gonna be dumb easy.

  2. The thing with macs is that they're better laptops than windows ones, but, if yoi got dough for only one, and need it to be a laptop for versatility's sake and want to play games mac is out of the question, you'll have to go with a gaming windows laptop, just like I did, and then lament on the pathetic battery life lmao

  3. Great editing but absolutely horrible and biased content. It's just a glaze fest. How the heck did he even give the user experience a 4 out of 5 (and compatibility too).
Honestly it's apple users like these that make me feel ashamed to be an apple user lol

  4. I really hope they start including dedicated GPUs in their laptops!

The processor speed is already ridiculously fast but while their integrated GPUs are very impressive for iGPUs, I can only imagine how fast a dedicated ARM GPU could be!

  5. I'm a student I'm going to build a budget pc will play only valorant on it and I have a laptop with i3 8th gen and might want a new laptop which one should I get macbook air m2 15", m1 max or a cheaper windows laptop which I can carry plus do good gaming along with decent battery

  6. I canceled a m3 max preorder because I didn’t feel like the gaming experience would be worth it. My 3070 laptop would probably continue to outperform most games and it costs a quarter of the price. That being said I HATE WINDOWS and will make the switch when the tech improves.

  7. And what about path tracing dlss like technology? Still potato gaming . Mac is not for gaming. Better use device like steam deck it is more affordable and the same potato.

  8. feel like mac will take over the gaming industry with the ipad the iphone having raytracing mac having more compatibility and the fact that apple vision exists now

  9. As a casual gamer I want apple to be least this much generous to give us proper 60 fps gaming. I don't care much above 60fps that much tbh because higher graphics usually don't have much fps and apple can give us graphics. I hope 😑
