   big screen good battery – ideal for writing notes on the keyboard and maths with the pen – using alternatives for apple accesories i can have a great set for uninfor about 450$

9. The best iPad? ofcourse the iPad 9 for the basics and still has a zippy chip with 2-3 years support from Apple and the deal breaker – 3.5mm jack. Best value Apple tech yeah mate!

I just got the iPad 10th gen with cellular, it was on sale for 1/2 off and a free year of 5G cellular service, so I decided to upgrade from my 1st gen iPad Pro, I’m absolutely love the 10th gen, the cameras are so much better than my old iPad Pro, it’s super fast compared to what I’m used too, and the screen is super bright for me, I also love the metallic blue color as well, it just pops, I just do mainly watching videos and playing games, and look on the internet and some photography and fly my drone with it and it has done everything with no problems at all

15. As someone who's planning on updating my iPad in 2024, I think I get the 11-inch iPad Pro. The iPad Air comes in 64GB and 256GB. 64GB is too small for me, but the 256GB is $150 more and is more storage than I need. Perhaps more importantly, the price of the 256GB iPad Air brings it within $50 of the 11-inch iPad Pro which has 128GB of storage, which is the amount that I want. So then it becomes a question of whether the Pro has enough unique features over the Air to justify that $50 upsell, or whether I'd rather save that $50 and get an Air with twice as much storage than I need (an 128GB Air for just $50 more would be perfect). I know this is all falling victim to Apple's price ladder that entices you to upgrade to the more expensive, more profitable model, but that's just where we are.

17. After waffling on the decision for months, the mini 6 prices dropped and I finally made the decision to buy. I used my older mini for both work and personal. I plan to do the same with the mini 6. I don't think an incremental improvement in the mini next year will make me wish I had waited. There will always be a new design or new features that come out and I know that when I buy.

18. Mark, help please! I have an iPad Pro 9.7”, 128GB and just 40GB capacity left and the first pencil. I have to admit I don’t understand the geek-talk so can you help me decide if and when to purchase a new iPad? I use my iPad constantly (but the camera only for FaceTime) for photo storage (4,000 jpegs which are saved to the Cloud. I’d like to do LightRoom and Photoshop Editing – is this possible on an iPad? (Currently I do it on a PC.)Price needs to factor in my decision value/$$$. I have an Adobe plan. Any help you or anyone else can suggest for me would be appreciated. Thank you!

29. As someone who still does not plan to upgrade from my iPad 9th generation, I just enjoy watching these video to keep an eye on the progress of the iPad line up. I just love using a tablet as an in between device between my phone and tablet and when the times does come to switch, it would be nice to know all I need to know over the years. But for now at least, I watch these guides purely for entertainment and general interest in Apple’s tech.

33. I hope this helps somebody deciding between an iPad 10 and an M1 Air 5

    I don’t know how to describe this but do NOT buy the iPad 10 as an easy way out as it’s less expensive and have it as your substitute for what you originally wanted, the Air 5. I feel like a lot of people will be very satisfied with the 10. I’ve owned one for 6 months in the 64GB Yellow version. But if you use the apple pencil and keyboard a lot I really wouldn’t bother… I use the Magic Keyboard Folio and Apple Pencil with it and I hate the kickstand of the keyboard as I can never get an adequate angle with it and if you wanna work from the comfort or your bed it is extremely cumbersome and unstable in my own experience, and the lack of ability to store the pencil is a game changer for me when i’m spending £499 on the tablet alone. I’ve also found my battery life personally to be poorer than my 3 year old iPad 8th Gen. Also with the keyboard case, not having the ability to use proper external display support and stage manager is also a major con for me.

    My pros are the amazing palette of colours, the performance of the A15 and 4GB of RAM and the landscape camera… that landscape is A BLESSING for facetime and i’ll be so sad to let it go.

    You’ll KNOW if you want or need the Air 5. And i’ve now realised that down the line and am choosing to sell up and buy the Air 5.

    Please be careful with your money and do an extra bit of saving if you are going to need it.

35. iPad Air 5th gen is currently the best price to power bang for buck in the lineup. I constantly see iPad Air 5s for $450-$500 which is the same ballpark as the mini. And it comes with a M1 chip, still portable, the perfect size iPad, and has external monitor support and will get AAA game support moving forward after Assassins creed and Resident evil 4 come to the ipad

36. I would love it if Apple made a 14inch iPad Pro that could run iOS and macOS. It would replace my laptop. I could then have a Mac mini at home and the iPad for travel.

37. The concept of the iPad mini is really intriguing to me. But I’m writing this on my 12.9” iPad Pro from 2018 that I bought instead of Mac book because, well, I don’t like laptops. Over the years this iPad has gotten too big for what I ultimately use it for…the exact things that would be perfect on a mini. YouTube, mail, doom scrolling, etc. I don’t use my iPad Pro as a laptop replacement except in very rare cases. Oh well, let’s see if Apple upgrades the mini.

41. Happy iPad 10 user here. Why did I get it? Easy, it's the cheapest most recent iPad out there. I got myself the absolute base model, wifi-only with 64 gb of storage. Since I only use it to stream content, some browsing and light app use (like Reminders, Notes and stuff like that), it's perfect. It also has a usb c port, which is a plus looking towards the future of all Apple devices.I did consider the M1 Air, and though it isn't that much more expensive, why pay extra for features I am sure I will never use or need. The only downside of the 10 is still being stuck with the first gen Apple Pencil.
