It was such a great idea with the solar panel, 3 motors and the many other benefits promised. The Kickstarter campaign has seen several hundred users receive the robot from July but with many, many issues resulting in a significant number of those users requesting refunds. Issues range from the very immature state of the Android and iOS apps (which no doubt could be addressed) to more significant issues that can't be fixed by software/fimware. The latter include corrosion of the charging port and more lately with the delamination of the power panel on the floating solar unit which then allows water ingress to effectively kill the unit.
Great idea and innovation but launched prematurely.
