  1. Hey Bobby, great stuff man. I'm the fence with this, but I definitely need to upgrade. I'm currently using a old mid-2014 MBP for Photoshop and with heavy edits its bogging down. So do you think the Max version would be overkill for Photoshop? Great info!

  2. Because Thunderbolt 4 ports require 40 gb/sec bandwidth, and you can't support a whole plethora of them.

Each TB4 port has it's own Thunderbolt controller behind it, so you're getting an aggregate of 120 gb/sec on three ports.

  3. Oh that's the best reason I heard for the notch, hope they can improve that in next model and put a big black square notch in the middle of the screen to help us concentrate on it when video chatting instead of that small light dot!! /s

  4. Nice video ..My first time here … I did order my Macbookpro M1 X 16 inches with 32 GB of rams and 2 TB SSD drive. Can you recommend a great monitor to hook up my new laptop?? 27 inches or bigger..Thank you so much… for Video editing and photography.Without breaking the bank.

  5. The person who just wants to use office and powerpoint, the M1 is perfect for them. I am waiting to get my 16 m1max MBP. Should handle my gfx100s files with ease, right?
