Setup VirtualBox to Explore Linux Distros – Mac Edition

On this video we will talk about how to setup a VirtualBox on Mac OSX with the purpose of merely examining different Linux Distros.

VirtualBox can be downloaded directly from Oracle’s website:

This video is part of the Mac tutorial guide on setting up a virtual machine:

  1. HELP! I'm migrating my macs to Linux because Apple is not Supporting the older Macs, How do I backup my data thus allowing me to re-install it on my Linux System. Mostly photos, documents in PDF format, some Pages documents but I usually convert them to PDFs. I bought a Mac Pro 1,1 very cheaply. I installed Linux on it because can't get Mac updates 🙂 Hooray for me. Linux works great. I need to adapt and move my photos and digital Documents. I found several of my iMacs are loosing their support soon and they will be going to Linux. I have online classes learning Python in many variations and they have helped me set up VirtualBox and Linux and Windows 10 and Docker. I have a lot to learn thus migrating to Linux is a Must. HELP!
