iPad Mini 6 in 2023: The Best iPad? iPad Mini 6 2 Years Later…

The iPad Mini 6 is personally MY favorite iPad. The iPad Mini 6 is 2 years old now, and it’s still keeping up! I prefer the iPad Mini 6 vs the iPad Air, and I would easily take the iPad Mini 6 vs. the iPad 10th Generation ANY day.

  1. AYO thanks for watching! The next coming weeks are going to be a little difficult. Bachelor party, wedding, moving, and just a lot of stuff on our plate. SO bare with me, I'm going to try to keep up with the upload schedule, but there may be a week where I miss.

  2. Love my mini! It’s the perfect in-between when it comes to my phone and MacBook Pro.. super easy to carry around, lives in my laptop bag and just perfect for casual tasks and web browsing. 64gb was fine for me.. I don’t install many apps and most of my iPad use is web based. My phone and laptop store a lot of stuff but it just isn’t the case with my iPads. Have it paired with a speck folio and cheap Amazon pencil.

  3. the iPad mini 6th gen is perfect as a digital notebook for students. As a student I love taking notes and making pdfs on it. The 60 hertz is a bit of a 50/50 depending on the person. if you ever have experienced 120 hertz then it would be an annoyance dealing with the iPad mini. the battery life gives out on me towards the end of the day, Im a heavy user so it can vary on the person. Colors are nice, the speakers are clear, although it is not as loud as I would like its do-able. Although it is not using the latest and greatest chip processors from apple it is still fast and most capable of doing ever day task. iPad mini isn't trying to be a laptop replacement like the others, it is actually meant to be use as an actual tablet. the cameras are decent I would say it equals as a the iPhone 11 camera quality in my opinion. you also get a modern design, and the latest 2nd generation apple pencil.

  4. I found your content after seeing you on Twitter. Even if I don't own an iPad, I'm enjoying your videos. I can't sleep, so this will make for a great tech video binge. 🔥

  5. Really good mention of the pros and cons. I finally decided to purchase a mini myself and I decided to buy a used 256 cellular variant just because I don’t want to stress about storage and I wouldn’t mind sometimes using it as gps in my car 🤡. Despite having a 11”2020 pro iPad which for my needs still performs really well even with iOS 17.02 I went for the mini just because I used to have a 8” Samsung tab s2 and the size was perfect for media, reading and also very portable. Everything already mentioned about iPad mini 6.

  6. It’s been the best electronic purchase I’ve ever made. As a professional illustrator, I just had to upgrade for the work I do, but as someone with limited mobility, I’ve gotten so much use out of the mini.

  7. I just got a new mini 6 and I have noticed that the YouTube buttons don’t work very well near the edges and corners when I tap on the “x” and < and in the comment section it isn’t very responsive and I have to tap them several times for it to work . Is this normal?

  8. I was gonna buy the 10th gen ipad but the Best Buy I was in had the mini 6 for $100 off so it was cheaper than the 10 so I picked the mini up and man I love this thing so much

  9. My personal dilemma is that I don't think I could go with my Mini alone. I absolutely love it, but there's still tasks I need my larger M1 Air for. Such as using Sidecar, Procreate, taking hardcore notes, Stage Manager, etc.

  10. The dull screen and the 60hz refresh rate was what made me send mine back this week! The jelly issue is real and if you want a phone type experience on a tablet then do not buy this device.

  11. Regarding storage, it's always been a sales tactic of Apple to make the minimum storage as something too little, and not selling a variant for just the right amount. This start even back when 64gb was "too much" storage, so everyone just needed 32gb but they only sold 16, 64, and 128

  12. The base model comes with 64gb, most average users will be ok with this, a more important consideration should be do i need the cellular option? it does bump the purchase price up initially, but ask yourself why would you want to limit yourself to just wifi when it’s so easy to pop in a data sim & have connectivity practically anywhere, you’d expect it from your phone so why not your iPad, the size & portability of the iPad mini with a cellular connection are what makes it so special to me anyway.

  13. is the ipad mini too small for note taking?
my main use is going to be note taking in college and i am not sure if i should get the 10 or the mini since they cost around the same price where i live and the mini supports gen 2 pen

  14. I plan to get an iPad mini as a Christmas present for myself, as it’s rumoured to get a refresh this year. I intend on getting a cellular model so I don’t need to use my hotspot

  15. "The obsession with sticking the minimum amount of storage in devices like this," for Apple specifically, is simply explained by one word the company has demonstrated having a close kinship with for, I daresay decades: greed. Reasons will be spun every which way by lovers of the brand to justify the perpetually sad state of the base storage (I have an iPad, yet withhold my love for The Apple), but like clockwork the truth remains the same…it's always laughably low capacity. Brand name, fast 500GB NVMe SSDs are now $25 at retail. Just sayin'.
