8. Wonderful video. My first experience with " higher end " headphones were the Sennheiser HD-580's – the little brother to the HD-600 or better headphones from Sennheiser. I love the ability to replace parts that are prone to wear out is one aspect that drew me to the Sennheiser headphones.

12. I used to play Apple Music with my IPhone 15 pro ,then I got the Eversolo DMPA6 ME connected to my DAC , the difference is huge. If you have a good DAC. I never thought there was such a huge difference. Dedicated streamers are way superior than IPads/Iphones

15. My Question – do the Focal Bathys wireless headsets have an amp built in that enhances the DAC mode (when wired), and does that negate the need for the DAC/AMP options you go over ?

16. Hi, I just bought a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4s. Do I need to make a new purchase of one of these headphones to really experience Lossless audio? They come with a headphone jack as well, please do reply cheers mate

18. Bought a Fiio KA5 DAC, bayerdynamic DT770pro and boom, my Apple Music is much more enjoyable on iPhone 13pro. Fiio works on android and iPad and windows too. A great buy for me. Step up from the Apple dongle

20. I would avoid most of the recommendations in the video as first purchase. Philips sounds terrible, dt990 has the high frequency a bit too hot.
    As first purchase I’d suggest sennheiser hd599 or hd58x.
    Avoid fiio DACs amps.

    2 rip out hard drive. Install micro sd adapter and bigger battery.
    3 install rockbox
    4 30 pin to 1/8 adapter
    5 headphone amp.

25. 4 k Apple TV HDMI connection to my Yamaha Aventage av reciever
    Sounds great in my house. Yamaha has some surround sound effects than when playing live recordings opens it up and it enhances the live sounding aspect.

27. Apple failed again. How can you say it's lossless, when their ridiculous app (macOS) cannot control a DAC exclusively and everything goes with up/down sampling?! This is beyond failure for audiophiles. Tidal did it, Amazon did it, Qubouz did it – on MacOS. But not Apple. On their own platform. Shame.

30. Imagine thinking your listening to Hi-Res Lossless with your Sennheisers and then find out your not because the super over priced DragonFly DAC only supports up to 96hz which is standard lossless and not Hi-Res Lossless which is 196hz.

34. Jason, just watched your lossless video from 2yrs ago. The DAC & headphone list you reviewed was very informative. Algorithms from YT must have prompted your video from a recent search I did on connecting an iPhone to a DAC to stream music. The dongle info was the same as other videos. Good to know. I bought the WiiM mini and it works as long as you’re not too far from the router. Look forward to pulling up some more of your more recent videos. I also watch Randy on Cheapaudioman. Thank you! 35. I waited years to get a iPhone with enough storage to hold my collection in lossless only to find out it doesn't work over bluetooth. I felt really dumb when I figured out what was wrong.
