After 2 years of dwindling interest, I recently decided to re-incorporate the M2 iPad Pro 12.9″ into my workflow. This has been one of the best productivity decisions I’ve made yet! In this video, I discuss why I think the iPad Pro is a slept on, kick ass, now fairly well-rounded device for not just your typical Apple Pencil art and note-taking tasks.

  1. Ipad is annoying to be honest…been using it for 3years now and i tried it to be my daily driver for work but the optimisation for basic apps is so fucked up is laughable…even if you connect keyboard mouse they still don’t function the same as computer.
iPad is best for watching movies, surfing web, reading articles, great drawing and writing experience, and great for ios gaming.
Even popular note taking apps don’t function the same as pc. That’s a huge let down.
I hope apple some day solves something to make it less frustrating coz i love the device so much!!

  2. Is just about what do you need do you use logiciel that only exist on mac if so don’t buy an ipad but if everything that you do can be done an ipad you have the choice. I am in college and i don’t need any special logiciel the ipad is the best tool for me because is so simple and fresh i don’t need a laptop because my ipad can do all i want so for me in my utilisation ipad is a laptop and even better

  3. As a Beauty Consultant and Hair Stylist, I use my iPad EVERYDAY! I run both of my Businesses with it and prefer it over my Mac. I love it and will be upgrading to the iPad Pro!

  4. Welcome to the other side, I’ve been iPad Pro only since 2017 and won’t go back. Has it been a struggle, yes but it keeps getting better every year and i love it. Can’t wait till next year!

  5. I only use my iPad Pro (1TB) as a night computer with some world newspaper readings, drawing sketches, and watching TV Show Suits. At the end of a long work day is quite nice.

  6. It’s honestly just a luxury thing, the iPad is definitely a good companion to the MacBook, or any actual laptop in my opinion. But there are certain websites that still don’t function right through Safari, or any other web browser on the iPad. The other day I was renewing my defensive, driving course certificate, and Had difficulties on certain steps with my iPad Air five and Magic Keyboard so I decided to grab my $200 laptop and that function perfectly. I decided to go to Best Buy and bought myself an M1 MacBook Air recently when it was on sale no regrets.

  7. I got an iPad Pro 12.9 M2 256GB with the MK in August. I am still sleeping on it. It is an awesome device, but can’t get myself to use it much, other than watching stuff on it, and maybe occasionally playing games. Though I am fortunate enough to have many devices: a gaming PC, a MBA, iPhone, Tab S9 FE etc. All of them have purposes, and even when I had less, I was still not using the iPad much. Maybe I should just convince myself to use it as an entertainment device and nothing more. Then, it’ll be the fun device.

  8. As a real estate agent, I can tell you the iPad Pro is the absolute BEST device for someone like me. My M2 MacBook Air barely gets used, very situational or only if I want to change up my workflow up a little bit every now and then.

  9. Great video.
I want you to do an iPad 11 vs 12.9 video.

Also, could you please specify what screen protection you use- paperlike type or tempered glass?

  10. I have an iPad Pro (2020) and I love it but can’t help but feel that Samsung’s tablet OS is far superior at this point with Samsung Dex. Their tablets can truly be a laptop replacement. iPad OS still has a long way to go. Until then they’ll remain a niche product.

  11. The operating system is really limiting for the expensive and powerful hardware that iPads come with. It might be better for most people to buy a cheaper rival tablet then just use web services to run any professional work online instead of over-paying for an iPad which cannot use the hardware it comes with no matter how good that hardware is? To get the most out of the ipad you have to use web services and a fast connection which defeats the whole point of having powerful hardware.

  12. Noah, I can recommend Vyvanse for your ADHD. There are now generic equivalents available as well. It is Lisdexamfetamine in tablet form and is a single-enantiomer formulation (mono chiral). That means only minor side affects. My ADHD has affected me my entire life and has held me back. Vyvanse has radically changed my situation. I can now concentrate on single tasks and finish them on time. I operate intellectually at the college level which is great in my line of work. (Software development.)
