How Apple Made The iMac So Thin

Apple just introduced their new generation of iMac at the Spring Loaded event, and it has a lot of new features. Including a FaceTime camera, spacial audio, and a professional studio mic array. But what’s getting most of the attention is the iMac’s new design. It’s not only colorful, but also super thin. Over 3x thinner than the previous generation iMac model. So how was Apple able to pull this off? Well that’s what I, Greg from Apple Explained, will be explaining right now.

  1. Why is the compenents being behind the display worse than under it? I mean it's not like you can place it right on the wall anyways right? And now you have a really big chin, that you can see from the front

  2. It's great that you can continue to develop a technologist so little and so efficiently.

However, I have a question, wouldn't it also be much more difficult to repair if a small thing breaks, e.g. ram

It's just a broad thought when we "all have to keep must our technology as long as possible"
