  1. Ok, first 2:45 minutes tell it all. The size, radiators, cooling system tell it all. $200 entry price for PC also attracted me as well as spending $2000+ & counting to make it real useful, spending tens of thousands of dollars over two decades. Until iPad came to market in 2009 and Mac mini thereafter. The only computer that I used the most before that was “hand spring”with Palm OS. This has not change for me in 2024.
Problem with windows PC is renewal fees for OS & software, overheating, cache overload, constant threat of virus and hacking and performance at lower end products and frequent crash of system. Only exceptions to overheating & crash are thinkpad computers (mostly when manufactured and sold by IBM, with Lenovo, it is still better than the rest.).
With windows PC it is more of a waste of time waiting for it to process your input as well as managing the hardware and accessories. With all thing apple least worries about hardware, software, hacking, viruses, overheating & crashes AND more about working and connecting and finishing the task. Add benefit of trading in old stuff while upgrading or just getting cash Vs worried about disposing the old junks (and may have to pay for it), while buying upgrades.

  2. This is a total waste of a video imo. Not a full actual PC workstation??? We aren't even doing a true apples to apples, or more of an apple to orange here. A 7088x3d??? WTF!!! Why not a 7950x or a Threadripper? A more accurate title would have been "Gaming PC vs Mac Studio"

  3. Guys he is using a 7800x3d because it won't use more than 100w and for his form factor cooling and power consuption are key. 7900X consumes double and intel….well consumes.

  4. You paid too much for your PC. I could build one for less that would perform better. Not really a fair comparison and I have nothing against Apple except their pricing.

  5. What's this nonsense about the Mac being easier.
I can go to a computer store and buy a better PC that is already built so this point is moot.

  6. Would also have liked to see generative ai benchmarks… the NPU's on the Mac (purpose built for task) vs. the insane performance of the 4090.

  7. where I ended up going with a hybrid system where I use the Mac as the master machine and the RTX 4090 for rendering, which is the highest usage of GPU in my workflow- octane render just works now with the alpha 2 build cross platform rendering just came out – I’m using Cinema 4D as my main program of choice and the RTX 4090 over a PC running headless without a monitor like a 1 gpu render farm… – just works! – I never really have to interact with the PC hardly at all just run the octane, render Damon only- This really is the- Best of both worlds!

  8. Did a test with my system. My 3080 rtx cuda is performing WAY below another system on the ranking list running a 2070 rtx Super cuda…something like 4k oints in difference, wut…

  9. The price question has to include manufacturing time and system warranties. If the machine burned the motherboard what is the process of replacement and time cost.

  10. When talking about gaming…I still havent seen anyone try proper Windows gaming via a VM…surely the higher end M machines have the horsepower to run Windows in VM & game…? Could there be eGPU support in a VM?

  11. It was quite unfare, I know that mac would still win in multi core work load but you should have used i9 13900k or at least 13700k (for better efficiency )for the comparison
