I think Apple may be moving away from events in general. Most products will be released by press release. Wouldn't surprise me to even see the next iPhone in press release. The industry, as a whole, is looking towards new ways of saving money.
I am definitely looking forward to getting the iPad Pro 13 inch OLED. Hopefully Apple release it at a great price. At least 1100 like the previous model
