2. airplane mode is why it wont activate it needs to call the server to activate.

   try maybe turning on the phone only and not connect to the internet

   so i think it is high time you burn a phone and try flashing to new ios to see if it will activate.

3. Hmm I remember that my 4s on ios 9 activated last month (idk if the 4s is an exception)

4. I got an iphone 5 on ios 9.3.1 a week ago. but today I realized that it was not on the right date. when I wanted to correct this, I noticed that it automatically went from 2011 to 2015 then 2026 then 2038 then 2001..
   when I restarted it, I was faced with a screen displaying “activation impossible”

5. maybe activation works under iTunes since you can do that. If you choose to connect to iTunes instead of connecting to a Wi-Fi it'll activate using iTunes and that may be the key.

6. I still use one this phone .I’m getting an iPhone se2 and the 6s has served me well

7. The best way to know if an iPhone is locked to a specific carrier is to go to Settings – General – About, and scroll down until you see Carrier Lock. That will help you find out if the phone is restricted to a certain carrier or not.

10. How did you restore that 6s without updating? Does the Find My erase function work on that old of a device?

11. only those 6s that have not been activated at least once on ios 10+ are activated

14. I do know that versions prior to 9.3.5 had a big exploit that basically allowed hackers to spy on u if u downloaded/opened something. Maybe its just that, and 9.3.5 can activate?

16. I have a rose gold 6s on 9.3.3, when I got it it was at the hello screen and showed the activation error, but than I pressed try again 2 times and by a miracle it freaking activated. It’s carrier locked so I think that’s why it did that.

    I’m lucky to have that since I caught it on eBay on time, it was only 54$ and even came with the box. The seller had no idea how rare it was lol.

18. It's insane, and fun, to think that its possible that with the iphone 3gs's (for the time) long life span, someone went from the 3gs to the 6.

23. One question, if you use 3u Tools, you can click on Batch Activation and Activate, or skip the setup, why didn't no one try this?
