  1. This is quite an old video not sure if anyone will answer but can somone please explain why you are writing all zeros to the external flash drive?(i think this is what that dd command is doing unless i am wrong)

  2. I've tried force unmount with terminal and disk utility but I am still when erasing it seems to get stuck on "Waiting for partition to activate".

  3. you are a mannnnnnnnn. ı was struggling for this from hours and saw alot of videos but nothing happend. and finally u solved it mannnnnn. love uuuu

  4. Erasing “Samsung PSSD T7 Media” (disk4) and creating “500GB SSD”

    Unmounting disk
    Creating the partition map
Wiping volume data to prevent future accidental probing failed. : (-69825)

    Operation failed…
Still getting this can you help

  5. I ran first aid in recovery mode, i thought that worked to fix my issue but…… The next day i went to restart and no luck, i found the issue. I had failed to update monterey os. I was having more issues and could not start up in recovery mode to run disc utility but the disc was not the issue. I managed to startup with left shift held down after several attempts then i managed to go to about this mac, software update (app store was not working) then i ignored the recommended os and clicked on show more updates, then i found the missing update for monterey, this took around 30 mins and a few restarts, which it seemed to do on it's own. I was scared as my monitor was working and sometimes updates do not allow the use of the external monitor. Anyway. Finally this worked. no more error showing in startup disc in disc utility first aid when clicking on the top disc option.

  6. I got this error

    dd: /dev/disk6: Input/output error
    1+0 records in
    0+0 records out
    0 bytes transferred in 0.042328 secs (0 bytes/sec)

looks like it worked for everyone else though. I guess my external Is garbage then 🙁

  7. It didn't work. On the last step, I got this message.

    1+0 records in
    0+0 records out
    0 bytes transferred in 0.016235 secs (0 bytes/sec)

I still can't fix it. Can anyone help please?
