  1. What's the point of this video? I watched many videos on your channel but this one seems no use . SSD vs HDD , I was expecting speed test and convenience and most importantly your recommendation. Currently the costs of ssd are decreasing , you should make more in depth comparison video for iPad external storage. Hope you will find this helpful.

  2. WD easy store takes a long time to be seen by the iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inch! Don't use high Capacity "Spinning" hard drives with iOS 13! Flash/Thumb and SSDs only!

  3. Good job addressing the issues. Iā€™m not sure you fully appreciate the differences between an sad and a hard drive, though. The hard drive is spinning media and the ssd is solid state. The former has moving parts inside, the latter does not. During operation, if you move, shake, or hit a hard drive, data could be lost or damaged. This is far less likely to happen with an ssd. Thus, one is going to be way more reliable than the other for most portable applications where these devices are used. This is the main reason why it is very important to highlight the difference between the two types of drives. They are not just about adding storage to your computer or iPad, if you value your data. One is also way faster than the other. For portable applications, there is very little reason to be using spinning drives anymore unless you have lots and lots of data to store.

Hope this helps and just take it like a man, bruh. (:

  4. I had planned to buy a T5 to go with my 3 USB drives (2/LaCie 1T USB and WD 4T USB) to use for travel. Iā€™ve been deciding about a USBc hub and the Inateck looks interesting because Iā€™ve been looking for one with 2/USB, SD, USBc power delivery and a removable cable. Iā€™ve added it to my list. I have the beta installed on my older gen1 12.9 Pro (with battery issues) and am able to work-slowly-with my drives using an Apple camera/USB w/lighting port adapter and 12W power but am really looking forward to installing on my 2018 Pro and having everything work with a hub. This again is a helpful videoā€”I didnā€™t laughā€”I call an SSD a hard drive too LOLā€”habits die hard.

  5. First, neither add memory to an iPad, they storage. And second, whether its an SSD or a legacy platter hard drive, they are both storage devices…since weā€™re being ā€œtechnicalā€…šŸ¤£
