The M1 Max Macbook Pro is still an amazing option to go for instead of the newer M3 Max chips

  1. I have the M1 Pro on my 14" MacBook Pro. I use my MacBook Pro for everything, from school courses to video editing. Its plenty of powerful for me. Just had the hiccups when I was doing 60fps editing on the M1 Pro. The M1 Max hammers that out. Hey the base M1 chip was so powerful too on the 13" MacBook Pro. It could even do 8K edits and playback.

  2. after using between 14" and 16", I felt like 14" was still under my expectation about its battery life which is too short. Now I am switching to 16" m2 pro, which is powerful and better battery life.

  3. Great video. I am just in the situation where i need a new video editing machine and not sure if i should go for the same M1 Max you have or to go with the new m3 pro chip with 16gb. What would be your recommendation?
