i’ve been using my ipad since 2020, It’s still working not badly, although the battery life sucks. But it works super well on graphics its decent otherwise on battery life. When I first used it, I thought it was an ipad pro lol.
Am using this ipad its a beast tbh but unfortunately i got 32 gb😢

No that iPad charges fast, my iPad Pro 5th gen takes about 4 hours to fully charge
I bought ipad 8 in 2021 dec and trust me it is a beast and im a heavy user ,, like daily on avg of 9 hours i use my ipad ,, and daily since i bought it and still battery life is good and does not lag beast it is
You should save more money to buy iPad 9th gen, it’s has better specs, less hot and battery drain. I’m using iPad 8th gen and some time i use it heavily it’s become overheating.

The iPad 8th generation worth buying if the price is cheap and it’s in good condition. You save $100 compared to a iPad 9th generation. Really pay more and get a iPad 9th generation thst will last longer.
