  1. Today: Sonoma is already available for my Mac. I'm running with Ventura 13.5.1 for now. What if I skip this 13.6 5 (also available) update and actually go directly with Sonoma 14.6 instead? Thanks

  2. Anybody know if I can install OCLP to a 2011 MacBook Pro with perfectly install windows 10 through boot camp? Can I do a fresh install of Ventura without touching my windows NTFS partition?
I have 1gb drive 300gb original high sierra and 700gb windows all Uefi

  3. Update completed with no problems (MacBook pro 8.1 i7 late 2011). Took a long time to be honest, but everything went well. The bluetooth issue was fixed and it worked with no problems

Again many thanx for your effort

  4. Thank you for being so kind helping a huge number of people with their un-supported Macs. Few weeks ago my 2015 MacBookPro, Ventura pop-up OCLPatcher message said: "OCLP has detected you're running without Root Patches, and would like to install them. macOS wipes all root patches during OS installs and updates, so they need to be reinstalled. Following Patches have been detected for your system: – Graphics AMD Legacy GCN – Graphics: Intel Haswell. Would you like to apply these Patches? Cancel / OK." When I hit OK, the download starts, then reboot and it stops at a black screen with the apple logo and a bar hanging about 60% .
I tried several times. It is hanging at the place, black screen, can't do a thing. I removed the last instal in 'terminal' (instructions from one of your videos Great Thank you!) . That brings me to the Ventura screen with very small icons, font, can't view videos. Please how can this be fixed? I am desperate. Do I have to wipe everything and re-install Ventura? From your website? Should I use the the same 2015 MBP with the small icons, font, … to prepare for installation please? Or do you recommend to use a different MacBookP please? ( I have a 2014 MBP with Monterey.) Thanks again!

  5. What happens when you apply the update 0n a 2013 iMac and when it reboots it just gets stuck on Apple logo screen with progress bar 1/2 way? I have tried everything that’s listed to try but nothing works. It will however load into Safe Mode ok ( not that I know what to look for when I get in safe mode). Any suggestions?

  6. Hi Mr Mac, great content as always. Have installed the latest update on my late 2012 imac with no problems.. At the end of the installation I had two System Extension Update windows appear asking me to finish the update by approving "AppleintelHD4000Graphics" and the other was "GeForce" in privacy and Security Settings. I tried following the instructions but couldn't work out how to do it, hopefully you can help. Mick, Northern Ireland 👌🍻

  7. After updating MY MBP 2013 it has immediately asked for icloud login details upon reboot. I declined but when it fully booted into the updated 22g120 I was still logged into everything. For what reason was my icloud info needed and have I missed out on some features?

  8. Omg. I just panicked! I finally upgraded my 2011 MacBook Pro from Monterey to Ventura just last night (9/21/23). I created the installer following your previous tutorial video. My tech skills are at absolute ZERO, so I literally watch and rewind your videos following you as best as I can. I checked, and thank goodness, it was the 13.6 version I used to create the installer. As far as I can see, everything is working fine. Do I need to do anything else? Thanks for all of your help!

  9. Updated my unsupported MacBook Pro 13 2015 yesterday. I was a bit worried during the update, because it took about 30 minutes. But luckily all works fine after a few restarts and OCLP updates.
Thank you very much for your effort!

  10. Again, a very rapid response OCLP 0.6.8 macOS Ventura 13.6 update video! Thank you, Mr. Macintosh. Preparing my cMP 5.1 atm to get updated from macOS Monterey to macOS Ventura, first creating a Carbon Copy Cloner back-up. Safety First. Cheers

  11. Your handholding continues! Installed this update without issue. OCLP 0.6.8 flagged the need for patching automatically. MacMini 6.2. 🎉
