iOS 12 is here, and according to Apple the main focus has been
to double down on performance. It was the first part of the key-
note, and they spent a surprising amount of time on it.
They also mention that they have the most focus on older devices.
With twice as fast app loading. So we must assume that they
mean it. iOS 12 does come with many new features,
but still overall has the same design as iOS 11.

So lets see if it is true.

  10. Next time do the speed test while both phones are on chargers, since they’re old the wear in batteries could’ve affected the test a little. You remember the scandal when Apple had put the automatic slow mode on older models, well it happens also because batteries lose their properties over time. But same phone models will always have a little different results from cpu-benchmarks. So maybe an average from 10 or 10+ repeats. I think these results were within the normal error rate so the same.
