  1. What is meant by the word installation of alternative stores, will it be possible to install your applications? or there is also some kind of certification and all the rest of the shit

  2. Governments are only forcing Apple to enable sideloading for the less than 0.0001% that want it so they can use it themselves to circumvent Apples security easily to gain access to our phones and tablets, dont kid yourself this is to make a very small percentage of people happy. The USBC change was the first change, I doubt most wanted it either nor did they want their collection of Lightning products made obsolete overnight with their next iPhone purchase. Governments controlling what manufactures provide us will just reduce development and we will all end up with the same devices vs choice. It’s a sad sad day for the industry.

  3. Another great vid, you are my go to channel for iOS updates! I’m in the UK and not fussed about side loading however unlocking nfc has potential! Keep up the great content

  4. Why are so many people seeing alternative app stores as a positive thing? Instead of having all your apps in one place you now have to install a different app store just to have a specific app and it will most likely require another stupid account. How is that better in any way or form for the end user? I genuinely hope this doesn't unfold to apps becoming exclusive to those app stores.

  5. The simplest way of doing this would've been for Apple to just release two versions of the operating system one an open operating system includes a alternative version of iOS with the latest security updates on it but is wide open to install any app from anywhere just like android is, it would get regular security updates but no support from Apple no App Store no iMessage no any of the services at Apple provides it would just be bare iOS you be free to install these if you wanted to from the Apple App Store but you would get nothing else it would be a barebones operating system the other way to do it would be for Apple to just continue launching iOS and doing it like it is completely closed bootloader unlocked on one phone no boot loader unlocked on the other it's really that simple I don't know why the fuss is about it and why App was gone to these links all they have to do is just unlock the boot loader and his door barebones version of iOS whole thing could've been over and done with and that would've been the end of it

  6. And STILL, 11 years and going and the wallpaper and lock screen photo code is still broken and half way finished. Fire Tim Cook already! Good God what are they waiting for!

  7. Apple at it again with their monopolistic power. Apparently they are planning "reviewing" and charging devs and users for Side loading. The whole point of sideloading is that Apple can't impose any restrictions to apps outside of appstore. "Privacy/Security concerns" my Derrière! Google, Android does it with "Unknown Applications install" options firewall. Why can't Apple? Or they could've created a Sandbox virtual environment. But nOoooOo. Apple has to do it with their "Apple way"

  8. My hope is that the sideloading option is OFF by default for normals in the EU. Security, security, security. This normal is so very happy that sideloading is only going to happen in the EU.
