iOS 17.3 Beta 2 Released – What’s New? | iOS 17.3 Features, Changes, Performance & Battery Life

Apple has just released iOS 17.3 Beta 2 to registered developers, and soon to Public Beta testers. This update contains a major issue that is causing iPhones to boot loop and lose all of their data, so do not install this until a fix has been issued by Apple.

Anyways, also included in this release is the major security feature called “Stolen Device Protection,” Collaborative Playlists, and more.

  7. I had that same issue when first going on to iOS 17 even when I it was officially released I had to always go back to iOS 16 but then I had to wipe my device

  9. Is it just me or is my storage bugged as for me even if I don’t download apps it my storage fills up, I have a iPhone 13 Pro Max with 128gb of storage and it is filling, has anyone else got this issue and how can I fix it?

  15. I was having connectivity issues with iOS 17.2.1 so I decided to try out the beta update of iOS 17.3 and I still have the same issue. I’ve seen articles saying a lot of people are having the same issue. I’m so shocked because an update has never messed up my phone like this. Hoping for a fix soon!

  29. Can somebody talk about a iPadOS 17 stage manager being worse than iPadOS 16 stage manager? Being able going full screen while still having all other windows on the background is huge. Now you can’t go full screen anymore if you have more than 1 window.

  35. I was a victim of the boot up loop on my iPhone 12 Pro Max 😢 it took me a few hours to fix it! I had to wipe out my phone completely and reinstall iOS 17.3 Beta. It did not work for me to reinstall with iOS 17.2.1!

    Fortunately, for me, I have not experienced the boot loop issue. However, that said, I also have a construction grade case on my phone, which completely covers the back and makes it impossible for me to utilize back tap even if I wanted to. Back tap does have its benefits, but coming from an accessibility standpoint, May, being 100% blind and utilizing voice features on the iPhone, back tap simply had the potential to make things a bit more troublesome for me. Namely, if I were holding my phone and accidentally touched the back and triggered something, or if someone else were to do the same thing while holding my phone for any given reason.

    This aside, I’ve been very fortunate enough to not have any major issues with iOS 17.3, beta two.
