  1. Here's what I love about WatchOS10. It is the beginning of migrating away from Apple's walled garden. Several friends have replaced Apple Watch with FitBit or Garmin. My phone just ran out of warranty, so at the first sign of trouble I'm migrating to Google Pixel. Then I will stop my Apple Premier subscription, get rid of my Apple TVs, and Apple HomePods, and go with Google, Microsoft, and Amazon products. I am looking at a Microsoft Surface or Framework laptop to replace my "vintage" MacBook Pro. Several of my friends have done this since Watch OS10 ruined there expensive watches. They are much happier to be free of Apples monopolistic behavior and lack of real and affordable innovation.

  2. Actually it is possible, but it's an expensive process. All Apple Watches has a port in the bottom where the strap slides in. But it needs a USB controller which is way pricey. Using that you can restore the OS just like an iPhone. Think it's called an iBus Hub or something.
