Apple has just released iOS 17.3 beta 1 to developers and among the usual bug fixes, it also contains a couple big new features.   1. Stolen Device Protection also requires FaceID or TouchID for all those sensitive settings you mentioned, as well as to access things like the keychain, website passwords, and a whole bunch of other sensitive things. And, for those things, you can't use the Device Passcode as an override like you used to be able to do.

    I can see this becoming a problem if the FaceID module breaks after enabling Stolen Device Protection. I feel like they should add an emergency override method, such as an override code SEPARATE from the device passcode, that can be used in the case that you can't use FaceID or TouchID.

  2. Dont you hate it when these youtube reviewers overexagerrate and say โ€œbig new featuresssโ€ and its just one feature and its not even a big deal.. Iโ€™m a apple sheep but damn. This is no where near a โ€œbigโ€ update

  3. do an in depth video. like can the thief reset/ turn off face id? or can the thief turn off passcode? or can the thief add an alternate appearance in faceid? do a separate vid
