I did the whole process, it kinda worked, but the screen is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen, but it won’t show the slider. Any tips on how to fix it? Ty

I try this and says cannot retrieve device serial number. Can’t continue, and my iPhone is stuck in a white screen, Doesn’t work,I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here, maybe because my 16GB iPhone 4 was brought after the iOS 6 release, I can’t downgrade to iOS 4 but iOS 6 and up only worked for me so I got so mad and planned to get another iPhone 4 and try the downgrade tool again with the different iPhone 4

If you get the "serial number" error, it's because your iphone was bought after iOS 5 release. You can't downgrade to iOS 4 but iOS 5 and up will work perfectly

You have to have a mac os 10.12 higher recommend 10.15 ( also compatible with linux but not really good) and have legacy ios kit that way easier go watch youtube video on how to do it and you can downgrade now to iOS 4.0 to iOS 7.1.1 although iOS 4.2.1 is not functional but yeah
