iPhone Speaker Sounds Muffled? An Apple Tech's Fix!

Two Apple experts explain what to do when your #iPhone #speaker sounds #muffled. First, we have to figure out whether the speaker is muffled all the time, or just sometimes. One way to check if the speaker is muffled all the time is to play a ringtone.

To begin fixing this problem, take your iPhone out of its case and clean out every speaker and microphone. Then, restart your iPhone.

If that doesn’t work, go to the Accessibility Settings and make sure Mono Audio is off, Phone Noise Cancellation is off, and the Left-Right balance isn’t off-center.

Does the speaker only sound muffled when you’re listening to music? In that case, check the Music EQ settings in the Settings app. Make sure EQ is off.

If all else fails, Reset All Settings on your iPhone. Otherwise, you’ll probably have to get your iPhone speaker repaired.
