The report pointed out that the biggest reason why Samsung specializes in Galaxy A series mobile phones is the competition with Chinese brand mobile phones. Korean media believe that Samsung will have high IP-rated waterproof and dustproof functions even in entry-level models such as the Galaxy A33 in 2022.

So far, almost all of the five Galaxy A series models launched by Samsung this year have an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, while other Galaxy phones also have a minimum of IP67.

According to Korean media, Samsung uses membrane materials, waterproof silicone and other technologies to enhance the waterproof and dustproof functions of mobile phones. The former is used for mobile phone microphones and speakers, while the latter is used for charging transmission ports. In the future, the company will reduce its production costs by simplifying the manufacturing process of mobile phone backplanes.

Samsung has not yet confirmed how many Galaxy A series phones will be launched in 2022. The four phones that have been revealed by foreign media are Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A23, around the beginning of 2022 to the middle of the year. Announce listings separately.
