As a Creative Director and Motion Designer, I set out to build the ultimate AMD 5950x workstation for creative applications. I wish I had more time to light my office, color grade, etc., but I don’t have the bandwidth right now. So sorry for the quality, but hopefully, there is some good information in here for people looking to upgrade to the AMD 5950x for creative applications.

My experience so far:
– I suck at overclocking. The results were disappointing but I am sure it’s 100% user error.
– A simple memory overclock to 3600GHZ + tweaking timings gave a huge performance boost!
– RTX 3090 fits perfectly in the Fractal Design 7 Compact.
– If buying a Gigabyte Vision D board you will have to update BIOS.
– 128 gigs of ram rules.
