  2. last year i upgraded from a 1950x to a 5950x. just awesome! now i'll wait for a few generations until the motherboards and ddr5 gets cheaper.

  6. Just speaking from cost efficiency, I think the Threadripper has another year on it. Sell it while it has value for a cheaper energy efficient APU.

    Never had a threadripper but right now i´m usign a R 9 5950x, was thinking about buying the 9 7950x but the more i watch the more i want the new one, guess gotta wait for the 3D series to see wich one to buy…

  9. I was looking for someone to compare the 1950x/1080Ti but this is good enough since i should see even better performance upgrades going to a 7950x+4090. Thanks for this.

  11. Would it be somehow possible for you to upload the project, or what was involved in it, so I can try it out on my system to compare the results? I'm still on the 3xxx gen of Ryzen CPU's and would like to get an idea of what kind of performance uplift I might get from upgrading to the 7xxx series
