David & David explain how to fix the problem when your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo.
When your iPhone starts up, it has to turn on its processor, check its memory, and set up a ton of internal components before it can do anything complex, like check your email or run your apps.
These startup functions happen automatically in the background as your iPhone displays the Apple logo. It looks nicer than a bunch of lines of code. Your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo because something went wrong during its startup routine.

The first thing to try when your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo is a hard reset. A hard reset forces your iPhone to abruptly turn off and back on, and it can fix this problem if your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo because of a software crash.
Even if this step works for you, you’ll want to keep watching, because a hard reset doesn’t fix the underlying software problem that caused your iPhone to get stuck on the Apple logo in the first place.
If a hard reset works, and then back up your iPhone immediately!
This problem often occurs when you’re updating, restoring, or transferring data to or from your iPhone. A lot can go wrong when data gets sent from your computer to your iPhone, especially if you’re using a PC.
Your iPhone is just another external device to your computer, and lots of other software can interfere during critical moments of an iOS update or restore. Sometimes your iPhone kicks into recovery mode and displays a lightning cable, a computer icon, and the URL of a support article. You’ll need to disable your anti-virus or security software that caused your iPhone to get stuck on the Apple logo before you continue.
Broken USB cables or USB ports on PCs and Macs can also interfere with the data transfer process and corrupt your iPhone’s software. Try a different cable or connect your iPhone to a different USB port.
It’s also important to make sure the cable you’re using is MFi-certified. MFi stands for Made For iPhone, and it’s basically Apple’s seal of approval for a product.
Make sure to to clean out your computer’s USB port and your iPhone’s charging port using an anti-static brush or a brand new toothbrush — just don’t use anything that can conduct electricity.
If you can’t figure out what’s wrong with your computer, sometimes it’s easier to use a friend’s when you need to update or restore your iPhone.
The last step you can take to completely rule out a software problem on your iPhone is the DFU (Device Firmware Update) restore. A DFU restore doesn’t just restores your iPhone’s software. It restores the firmware too.

@Payette Forward question: tonight, my bestie who has an iPhone 13pro max who updated to the current OS 16.5 the day it was released had something odd happen tonight. She picked up her phone to check her messages it’s said your your phone has been updated to 16.5 (keep in mind she already up dated days before) and the screen went to the “Hello” setup screen that you see with a new phone or a phone that was factory reset. She swiped up and it wanted her to select her country and language so she selected the language and country next it wanted her to connect to a Wi-Fi network, she skipped that, then went straight to setting up the face unlock feature she skipped that too, and then her phone was on the normal Home Screen. She was able to unlock her screen with her face(even though it had just asked her to set it up again, but she skipped) and it was connected to my wifi(even though when asked to connect she hit skip). In all my 15+ years as an iPhone user the only time I’ve ever seen the “Hello” setup screen and all of the other mentioned tasks is when I had reset my phone or got a new phone. Never EVER after a simple update and I have never EVER seen the “your phone is up to date” screen with an OS I’ve already updated to. What do you think caused
Why do you guys not explain how to delete photos from iCloud but save them to the iPhone ❓❓❓❓
How do I remove the notification out of settings for an unknown part. I had to replace my screen with an o e m part now the message will not go away.
Jailbreaking is amazing , but you have to be careful and be smart.
HELP!!! look at the MacBook Pro's 2021. Many have a popping crackling speaker. I called, googled, and finally went to the Apple Store where they wanted to replace the speaker by replacing the top (keyboard area) for $728. Really Apple??? Found Youtube and other posts about this DEFECT in the speakers. I never over-amped it. Of course Apple won't admit it. This needs to be addressed.. I know it's not a phone issue (I have a 14 pro max). I have more to say about the call etc. if anyone wants to hear it (in my case only on one speaker that doesn't crackle.)
Since 16.5 my iPhone battery is awful.
Help!!!
thank you! 📱
Are you sure that's what DFU stands for? Thought is was Did it F*&k Up
My moms iPhone 13 Pro Max got a yellow screen that won’t go away. Have you made any videos on a possible fix for that? It won’t turn on or off at all even with trying hard reset.
i had this problem with my device before it. it was the pc usb port that was the problem
I have a problem on my iPad in my email. When I try to go to a website from my email it kicks me back to my home page. Also it does the same thing when I try to use safari. No one knows how to fix this ???? I have an iPhone & I have no problem with it at all and, so it’s not my server ????
What do I do if my iPhone is hacked? Every phone I’ve had the past 12 years has been bugged by the same person. I know who’s behind it but can’t seem to get it stopped. Please advise.
