HMD Global, which is authorized by the Nokia mobile phone brand, launched its second-generation rugged military-spec phone XR21 that supports 5G Internet access in May this year. It is equipped with a Qualcomm mid-range S695 processor, a 6.49-inch LCD screen, and a 64-megapixel main camera on the back. The camera and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens feature rugged waterproof, dustproof and drop-proof performance. The body has passed MIL-STD-810H military certification, and its waterproof and dustproof capabilities have evolved to IP69K.
After only five months, HMD Global recently launched the “Nokia XR21 Limited Edition” with a white camouflage pattern on its official website. It advertises that only 50 units will be produced globally, of which a total of 30 units will only be available in specific European countries and regions. It is sold on the official website for 699 euros (approximately NT$22,700). The overall specifications and configuration of the phone are the same as the regular version of the XR21, but the price is 20 euros more expensive than the regular version.
The reason why a very rare “Nokia XR21 Limited Edition” is launched is that the “Nokia XR21 Limited Edition” is the first mobile phone produced and assembled by HMD Global in Hungary, Europe. Therefore, each mobile phone is specially launched. The digitally numbered limited edition allows die-hard fans to collect it.

According to information on the official website, only 30 units of the “Nokia XR21 Limited Edition” are available for sale. It has a matte white back cover. The entire machine is assembled in a Hungarian factory and the body is made of 100% recycled aluminum. One of the most special highlights is that this mobile phone has undergone strict software and malware testing. Since the mobile phone remote server is set up in HMD Globa’s European factory, it can ensure that mobile phone data will not be leaked.
In addition, each mobile phone has a unique numbered Nokia XR21 limited edition, and a certificate of production location will be included in the box. At the same time, it also provides three years of system updates (can be upgraded to Android 15) and four years of monthly security updates. The Nokia XR21 limited edition will be available for sale on the official website in 30 pieces. The limited sales areas include: Finland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Italy, etc.
