  1. Today Apple will offer an upgrade to iOS 15 for the iPhone 6S a full 6 years after it was released. The only reason that iOS 15 is not available for the 8 year old iPhone 5S is that it does not have enough RAM to run iOS 15. However, there was a security update for the iPhone 5S this year and so it is still protected.

I have a Pixel XL and a Pixel 2XL in perfect condition. Both have lots of RAM and a processor as fast as that in either the Pixel 3a or Pixel 4a . However, neither phone is supported. Support ended for these phones exactly 3 years after their release. I was not prepared to buy a new phone from Google when the only limitation of my current phone was a lack of security updates and so I was forced to buy a brand new iPhone 7 for a low price on Prime day 2.5 years ago. I still use my Pixel 2XL for playing games.

  2. For the past 1.5 yrs Google has disconnected their tech phone help line. Before buying a Pixel 6 I'd first like to know if the Co. will be reactivating this tech help phone # ? Samsun, Apple, Adobe, Amazon, ect, ect all have ' live person phone help '. Flagship phone is one thing but no fallow up help is another ! Thanks

  3. I doubt that many people are debating between a new iPhone or the Pixel. Realistically, Pixels will be an attractive option for Samsung or other Android users. Apple has made it waayyy too hard to switch out of their ecosystem.

  4. I have my awesome Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 512G, and was going to get the Pixel 5A for a backup phone, but I may get that for my sister's next phone, and get the Pixel 6 Pro.

  5. I could never buy another pixel after getting the pixel 4 after the hype on YouTube and the realising that I had paid far to much money for a phone with bad battery and low storage space.

  6. I had been trying for months to get a 4a or a 5. They were out of stock on both Verizon and Google. So I made the switch back to Iphone after many years on the android side.

  7. I was holding out for an iphone but after their announcement to scan all their users photos that's a hard pass. Hopefully this is a good phone and they don't pull some privacy breaking BS.

  8. I'm unbelievable excited for this phone. I have not updated my phone since 2017 (I have the 2xl) and it's has served me so well; the only reason I am planning to upgrade is because the 2 series will not continue security updates and I'd like to update to ask the new features. I can't wait!

  9. I'm just waiting on this to come over to my country the rebulic of trinidad and tobago 🇹🇹🇹🇹 I was interested in the google pixel 5 but not any more more interested in the google pixel 6 and I already got my cash for this handset

  10. This is the first time I felt a smartphone has a modern look.even with all those leaks I am even more exited for the release of this mobile.there is lot of groundbreaking things going on in pixel

  11. Google always did great software and camera processing but the camera hardware lagged behind Samsung and performance lagged behind Apple. Great to see them actual try with the hardware this time, it’s gonna be great
