  1. If you are a Tesla fan; you may want to hope no Cybertrucks are delivered; because it will mean red ink for each one. If they sell them for $70,000 that will be a $20,000 loss per vehicle. Why? The 4680 failure rates are still far too high. Why do you think there are no New Roadsters being delivered and only 21 Tesla Semis? Because 4680 represents loss. How many $20,000 losses can Tesla afford? 50,000 would lose $100 million. Why make them then? Tesla fans want it that bad. public pressure and promises to Deutchebank and others that these would be put out ; come hell, high water or red ink

  2. The reason why there are only three cyber trucks on a trailer is because of weight limitations Federally regulated especially between states. The Cyber truck is so heavy that the carriers can only put so much weight on the steer axle and the drive axles. This may slow the distribution but I'm sure more car hauling trucking companies will want to jump at delivering a Cyber Truck.

  3. I think, Tesla will hold on producing Cyber-trucks, because the prices of new cars are failing as per many youtub channels. What we can see under cover, very possible regular trucks, with sheets of metal resembling Cyber-trucks.

  4. I am excited but worried too. I have fingers crossed that they will not raise the price much from what was initially stated. With the economy and how tough it is right now for everyone, we can't justify paying more than 70k to 80k for a top trim cybertruck.

  5. This is a marketing gimmick, the demand is so low for them, that they are trying anything to get them out there…This is the beginning of Tesla's Edsel moment.

  6. What's REALLY interesting is the Tesla semi only had ONE doorstop on the trailer. All the THREE vehicle trailers were being pulled by DIESEL tractors. And NONE of these were in private hands.

Remember all the sightings of the semi tractor being trailered by a DIESEL tractor? And how few have been purchased since they went into production, even though we were assured there were THOUSANDS of preorders?

What a crock of pro-Tesla hype shyte.

  7. @TaliosiveEV Drew, did you catch the comments from Chris Anthony at Tesla Takedown regarding the Aptera batteries? He mentioned two sizes of taller cells for the 60 and 100kWh version that are not yet listed but turns out are imminently coming to production. Battery tech is a dynamic thing, after all!

So, speculation: instead of just doing what GM did for the Hummer EV and its cousins (double-stacking battery layers to overcome inefficiency, getting something like 10" thick and way heavy), Tesla will follow Munro's advice to Aptera and fit differing height cells to achieve any LR/Plaid/Duty versions. I'm going to guess the CT will get mid-3's miles per kWh, so it'll be getting on for twice the (in)efficiency of the Hummer and won't need to do anything like as clumsy as entire pack double-stacks to get reasonable range, but could have height to play with in the structural space to fit the same number of taller cells, which means the same base plates and busbars can be used for all configs.

  8. Excellent news! I mean, there's no way I will ever own one of the OG CTs (UK, an R1T just about fits, the bigger F150L is oversized for our roads, and a Hummer EV… well, no), but this is great to hear. There are so many regulatory hoops to jump through on the way to production, so to even be talking about crash tests and EPA MPGe, etc., just shows how much has been done already – well done to Tesla on that!

  9. ULEZs are areas in London accessible only to low-emission vehicles. Cars that do not meet the city’s environmental standards are charged £12.50 ($16) for entering the ULEZ. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras positioned around the zones read license plates and check them against the vehicles’ make and model in real time. If a vehicle does not meet the environmental threshold, the fine is levied against the car owner. Failure to pay can lead to fines as high as £258 ($331).

  10. 2:12 I drove past this truck going in the opposite direction on route 130 northbound around Austin about 10 miles north of the factory. My jaw dropped and I almost rear ended the car infront of me
